Immunisation

We are keen to prevent infectious diseases by offering a full range of immunisations. These can be arranged by making an appointment with one of our Nurses or, in the case of a child, by seeing the Health Visitor on a Wednesday afternoon.

Cervical Smears

Women over the age of 25 years should have a cervical smear every three years until the age of 50.  Women aged 50 – 64 years should have a cervical smear every five years. Smears can be arranged by one of our Nurses. Late night nurse appointments are also available.

Mammography

Every woman over the age of 50 will be offered regular mammography (breast screening). This can also be organised for women over 65.
